In the competition between long-established and new filter cigarette brands from the low-price segment, there are both – clear winners, but also clear losers. And there are also those that have yet to prove themselves or develop in one direction or another – such as the relatively new cigarettes with the promising brand name of King cigarettes. The brand, which originally comes from Bulgaria and from the KT International group of companies, is distributed in this country by Herman Hauser GmbH. This is a company that is mainly known for various shisha tobaccos or tobacco-free smoking alternatives (such as KNASTER).
Interestingly, the brand name of King cigarettes has been around since 1947. The concept of the brand is as coherent as it is simple: the aim is to offer customers contemporary design and international quality at a price that is always affordable. With the design in particular, those responsible actually hit the mark: the packaging with the slightly rounded edges looks pleasantly modern, the logo makes a good impression simply because of the name.
How strong are The King cigarettes? There are currently three different variants of King cigarettes in total. On the one hand, the conventional strong one in the red packaging, which comes with values of 10 mg carbon monoxide and tar as well as 0.8 mg nicotine – and is clearly aimed at friends of the strongest possible smoking pleasure. The slightly lighter variant is the King Blue in the blue packaging, which has values of 9mg carbon monoxide, 7mg tar and 0.6mg nicotine. The King Centrio Storm is a special variant – a cigarette that is comparable in strength to the red variety – but has a special filter that ensures an even smoother smoking experience.
How do King cigarettes taste? King cigarettes are made from a classic American blend and are therefore basically tailored to the broadest possible group of buyers. Theoretically, one should expect fewer peculiarities in the taste experience – but in fact, The King cigarettes have an interesting aftertaste that does not occur with other brands.
